About the process
defining a vision
This plan aims to create a collective vision for the role that arts and culture will play in Northern Central Indiana by leveraging the existing foundation built by organizations and creators across the region. This plan will define a community-driven strategy for arts and culture for the region.
why Now?
The region has been given a planning grant and the opportunity to pursue funding from the Lilly Endowment Inc. to support arts and culture. The region is uniquely postitioned to fund large-scale projects that will be beneficial to the community-at-large, creating collective experiences that drive social connection and creates avenues for self-discovery as well and personal and community growth. Beyond that, access to arts and culture is what makes communities more livable and vibrant places.
